Please tell friends about the existence of THE |
INTERNATIONAL BILL OF HUMAN RIGHTS. When enough of us humans are aware of and have readyaccess to the text of this historic agreement, it will begin to have asgreat an influence on the lives of all humans everywhere as the U.S. Billof Rights has had on the lives of all Americans. Be a part of the vision of a world that works for everyone. We have the tool; we just need to know that we have it and what it is.

What is THYB Inc.? A small non-profit corporation |
founded in 1981 in California. What has it done? It's a very small organization, but it has published the first book edition in English of THE INTERNATIONAL BILL OF HUMAN RIGHTS and has thereby gotten these documents and their history into many libraries and some college courses. Recently, it has established and maintained this globalrights.org website. The text of the website pages was written by THYB president Paul Williams. The history of the Bill was written by Peter Meyer in 1981 and is included in the book edition of these documents (which also includes forewords by U.S. Pres. Jimmy Carter and by Argentine Nobel Peace Prize winner Adolfo Perez Esquivel).
The name THYB was taken from the Japanese words |
Tai Hei Yo Bashi, which mean The Bridge Over the Great Ocean.

"These documents set a measure by which governments |
can be judged. Now we can say to them,
you have violated standards that you and all governments
have jointly set." | |
"I believe that everywhere people aspire to be treated with |
dignity; to give voice to their
opinions; to choose their own leaders; to associate with
whom they wish; to worship how, when and where they want.
These are not American rights or European rights or
developed-world rights. They are birthrights of people
everywhere." | |
